The company will not only be selling specific rides or Eats subscriptions, but also a combo Uber pass that gives riders bonuses across both branches of the company.
Uber is also trying to find better ways for passengers to match with their drivers, following the death of astudent who was killed after getting in a car with a man she mistook for an Uber. Uber plans to roll out pin codes for rides to help make sure drivers and riders match correctly. If a passenger has PIN codes turned on, the driver won’t be able to start the ride until the passenger gives the correct PIN.
