WakeyWines parody video 'Fakey Wines' goes viral as Uber driver creator hits out at 'scandalous' prices in shop
Wakey Wines has become so well known, a fellow Yorkshireman has been making parody videos called ‘Fakey Wines’ which have also gone viral, amassing hundreds of thousands of views.
Dave has released multiple videos which sees the 46-year-old make fun of the store as well as Mr Nazir’s trademarks and catchphrases. This one took off as he decided to film it in his local off-license Quix, in Bradford Road, Shipley, and copy the camera angles of Wakey Wines. He claims Mr Nazir and even KSI have viewed his latest parody video, which was published on Wednesday, January 11, but Dave’s views aren’t wholly positive about Mr Nazir’s actions.
In Dave’s video, he is stood by a ‘customer’ in the shop and begins by saying: “Hello guys, welcome to Fakey Wines! Fakey Wines, oh yes! Speaking to Yorkshire Live, Dave said: “It blew up overnight, I’m so happy about it. I told my daughter that if it gets 100,000 views, I’ll be the happiest man ever and I’ll treat them all to a party.
