U.S. Women’s National Team announces roster for Paris Olympics

Mountain Vista HS grad Mallory Swanson (Pugh) scored twice for the United States in a friendly match at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday.

30 days from the 2024 Paris Olympics, the U.S. Women’s National Team roster includes 8 players who were on the USA roster for the 2020 Olympics.

Forward Alex Morgan, a four-time Olympic veteran, was the most notable absence on the 18-player roster. Morgan missed the latest Wave match last weekend as an excused absence. The USWNT will open Group B play on Thursday, July 25, one day before the Opening Ceremonies, against Zambia at Stade de Nice in Nice.
