U.S. Policy Must Prioritize People & Peacebuilding in Mali Mali
Three senior American Africanists with extensive experience in Mali are urging that U.S. policy towards the west African nation"must prioritize the wellbeing of local citizens through the advancement of peace, prosperity and inclusive governance."
In an AllAfrica guest column, Chic Dambach, Vivian Lowery Derryck and Melvin Foote outline five principles and make five policy recommendations to the Biden-Harris adminstration advocating increased engagement.
