Officers in Dickson City are enlisting the help of Scranton Police after multiple suspects took off in a U-Haul Wednesday afternoon.
According to a release from Dickson City Police , officers were called to a Home Depot on Commerce Blvd. at around 4:45 p.m. for reports of disorderly people that were trying to return stolen merchandise to the store.
After arriving on scene, law enforcement states the U-Haul the suspects were in took off, leading to a police chase. Video captured by a witness shows the U-Haul swerving around a gas station before speeding away in another direction while police chased after it. Shortly after the pursuit was called off, the suspects were later identified using video from when they rented the U-Haul and from when they arrived at Home Depot.Dickson City Police then received a call at around 5:01 p.m. stating that the same U-Haul struck a vehicle on Business Rt. 6 and Ravine St.The individuals involved have not been captured at this time and have not had their names released.
