A retired NYPD detective expressed concern over videos detailing the detainment of Tyre Nichols by five now-former officers in Memphis on 'Jesse Watters Primetime.'
WARNING: Graphic footage—Ret. NYPD Det. Rob O'Donnell analyzes footage of Tyre Nichols' bodycam videos on 'Jesse Watters Primetime.'do not paint the five arresting now-former officers in a positive light, a former NYPD detective told Fox News on Friday.: Demetrius Haley, Tadarrius Bean, Emmitt Martin, Desmond Mills and Justin Smith. Each face charges including second-degree murder, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
"[With] the experience and training they had, they should have been able to secure him as soon as he was out of the car," O'Donnell said. If reports of a traffic stop being initiated on suspicion of reckless driving are true, O'Donnell said, it would have been an arrestable offense in Tennessee.
