At least 96 persons were killed in Bohol province due to typhoon Odette.

The number of fatalities was based on the data that was released by the provincial government at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21.Seven persons died in Talibon while Bien Unido and Loon each tallied seven fatalities.

The other fatalities came from San Miguel , President Carlos P. Garcia , Catigbian , Inabanga , Buenavista , Alicia , Tubigon , Antequera , Getafe , Calape , Maribojoc , Jagna , Valencia , Mabini , Pilar , Candijay Panglao , Batuan , Dagohoy , Guindulman , Loboc , Clarin , Sagbayan and Duero . Recording zero casualties were Tagbilaran City, Dauis, Balilihan, Lila, Anda, San Isidro, Trinidad, Loay, Carmen, Dimiao, Sikatuna, Garcia Hernandez, Cortes, Corella, Alburquerque, Baclayon, Sevilla, Bilar, Sierra Bullones and Danao.

The second district of the province was the hardest-hit by the typhoon as 56 of the fatalities came from the area.The typhoon made two landfalls in the province, first in the island of Carlos P. Garcia and next in Bien Unido.
