Two women were injured Tuesday evening when someone on a motorcycle fired at the vehicle they were sitting in on the Northeast Side.A motorcyclist fired a handgun at three people sitting in a car on the Northeast Side Tuesday evening.
The shooting happened in the 13000 block of O’Connor Road around midnight, according to police. The unknown suspect fled and has not been apprehended. Police have not identified any of the car’s occupants, though they said that the two passengers are women aged 24 and 42. The younger woman sustained a graze wound in the back of the head, and the other woman was injured by shattered glass. Both women were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The third person in the car was unharmed. Police are not sure what led to the shooting, and no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
