Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze missed another practice day for the Chicago Bears, while Malik Nabers was limited in practice for the first time due to a knee injury.

Two wide receivers missed practice yet again on Thursday, while a third popped up on the injury report for the first time. Chicago Bears wideouts Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze did not practice for a second consecutive day as they're dealing with heel and knee injuries, respectively.

However, a third NFL wide receiver was limited in practice on Thursday for the first time: New York Giants wideout Malik Nabers.Read more: Bears WRs Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze Miss Practice on Wednesday With InjuriesOn the Giants' Thursday injury report, Nabers was listed as a limited participant due to a knee injury.Nabers was solid in his NFL debut against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, reeling in five catches for 66 yards. The Giants offense struggled in Week 1 — scoring just six points — but the target share that Nabers received was a great sign for his continued emergence this season.More news: Former Giants Tight End Defends Daniel Jones Amid StrugglesNabers is the best weapon for quarterback Daniel Jones, and the Giants could benefit from finding more ways to get him the ball. The No. 6 overall pick in this year's draft is coming off a 2023 season at LSU in which he caught 89 passes for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.Nabers' dominant season coincided with a breakout year for LSU's Heisman-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels. The No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft is now on the Washington Commanders, the Giants' opponent this weekend.Nabers will hope to have a full practice on Friday, and be able to suit up against his former teammate in a crucial divisional matchup on Sunday. As for Allen and Odunze, they sat out practice again, putting their status for Sunday night's game against the Houston Texans in jeopardy. Allen and Odunze are two of quarterback Caleb Williams' top targets. Without them, he'll have to rely on wide receiver D.J. Moore and tight ends Cole Kmet and Gerald Everett.Friday's injury report will be crucial for all three wide receivers. Odunze, dealing with an MCL sprain, seems like the biggest long shot to play on Sunday night. Allen has been playing through his heel issue and could do the same this weekend. As for Nabers, there's not much information on his injury, but hopefully, for the Giants, it's minor enough to not keep him off the field.More news: Bengals Defender Takes Massive Shot at Chiefs WR Ahead of Week 2 Matchup
