ALOR SETAR: The Pinang Tunggal and Kulim Hi-Tech water treatment plants, which were affected by the sudden drop in the Sungai Muda water level on Sunday (May 14) have resumed full operations.

In a Facebook post on Monday , Syarikat Air Darul Aman Sdn Bhd said that efforts to increase the operation of the Sungai Petani LRA are still underway, adding that it was operating at 40% capacity as of noon.

Sada also said that nine water distribution centres had been activated in the Kuala Muda and Kulim districts. In Kulim, it involves the Taman Legenda tank; Surau Taman Cengal; Sada Batu 3 in Lunas; Petronas Taman Mutiara/Sungai Kob stations and BHP Desa Aman station.
