A two-time All-Pro is leaving the Philadelphia Eagles just one day after the team's win over the Green Bay Packers.

On Monday Nov. 10, the Philadelphia Eagles improved to 7-2 on the season with a defensive masterclass against the Green Bay Packers. Philadelphia held a potent Packers offense to just 261 total yards as quarterback Jordan Love managed just 176 yards through the air.

While the Eagles defense was the star of the show, a former All-Pro defensive back was notably absent. Philadelphia made a bold move for two-time First-Team All-Pro corner Jaire Alexander, who was acquired from the Baltimore Ravens along with a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round selection. The move came just ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline this week. More NFL: YouTube TV Makes Promise Before Eagles-Packers on ‘Monday Night Football’ Wide receiver A.J. When Philadelphia took the field for Monday night’s game against Green Bay, though, Alexander wasn’t in attendance – and now it appears his time with the team might be over. “Former Pro Bowl CB Jaire Alexander has decided to step away from football to try to focus on getting himself right physically and mentally before deciding on his future,” NFL insider Jay Glazer revealed, saying Alexander told the team on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
