Two teenagers were arrested and over $400,000 worth of stolen Nike products were recovered following a train burglary in the Amboy area on Wednesday, January 15, officials announced. Around 6:40 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Amboy and National Trails Highway after BNSF police reported multiple suspects burglarizing a train, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department stated.
Deputies later attempted to stop an unmarked white van traveling west on Amboy Road near Zelda Lane in Wonder Valley, which led to a brief pursuit.
