Two out of three men accused in the August 2023 fatal shooting on I-77 in Green, Ohio are on trial in Summit County Court of Common Pleas. According to the Summit County Prosecutor’s office, the third suspect, Giovanni Porter, agreed to “testify truthfully as part of an agreement to plead guilty to a manslaughter charge.”Giovanni PorterSummit County Sheriff deputies said Banks died after being shot around 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2023. According to deputies, Banks was driving a Lincoln SUV and traveling southbound on I-77 when shots were fired from a pick-up truck traveling in the same direction.Banks died at a local hospital, the driver of the Mercedes survived his injuries.Suspected drugs, electronics, and ammunition were also found, added deputies.

The crash was captured on traffic cameras, and the Ohio Department of Transportation released the video after a public records request.
