SAN ANTONIO - Two suspects are on the run and five victims, including three children under 10, are in critical condition after a shooting at an apartment building on the East side.

At 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported shooting at an apartment building near the intersection of Wazlem Road and Windsor Oaks. The Sheriff’s Office addressed the press that evening, saying that five people had been hospitalized in critical condition, with three of those victims under the age of 10.Authorities believe that two suspects arrived at the house in a grey car, exited the vehicle, and fired at the front of the house with semiautomatic rifles.

Authorities believe one of the victims inside the home had communicated with one of the suspects before the shooting. The suspects are believed to be in their 20’s or 30’s. Bexar County Sheriff’s Organized Crime Unit is investigating the shooting.
