JEMPOL: Two Politeknik Muadzam Shah students were killed when their car collided with a truck at KM33 Jalan Bahau-Keratong here.
Car driver Chen Pui Xia, 22, and Norsyahira Rahmat, 23, were killed on the spot in the 3.40pm accident on Saturday .
Jempol OCPD Supt Hoo Chang Hook said the front passenger in the car, Nur Syafikah Shuib, 21, also a student at the polytechnic, survived the crash."Eyewitnesses say the same and we are probing the case," he said.The front seat passenger in the car suffered a broken leg and was sent to Jempol Hospital while the truck driver escaped injury.Supt Hoo said the students were heading back to the polytechnic when the accident happened.
