Two men were fatally shot in East Oakland Friday.
OAKLAND — Two men were shot to death Friday in East Oakland, one while he was driving, authorities said.Neither man’s name has been released yet.
About 7:10 p.m. Friday a 33-year-old man was found fatally shot inside his vehicle that had crashed into a wall at an apartment complex in the 900 block of 82nd Avenue. Police believe he was shot while driving in the area before crashing.About 12:17 p.m. Friday a 50-year-old man was found fatally shot in the 9700 block of B Street.With the two killings, Oakland police have now investigated 66 homicides in the city this year.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money in each killing for information leading to the arrests of the suspects. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3821 or 510-238-7950 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
