Police were first called to an Esso petrol station in Orford Green, Warrington at around 11.55pm on Sunday, September 3 following reports of a burglary. It was reported offenders forced entry into the petrol station, based at Tesco, and stole a quantity of cash from the store.
Staff at the scene told the ECHO they were unable to comment on what had happened. It's not known if the two incidents are linked at this time.
