The protestors allegedly threw plastic bottles and other objects and spat at DPS troopers and other law enforcement officers outside their facility located off of Highway 85.According to sources, the protest took place on the highway, and pepper spray was deployed after a few agitators became disruptive, prompting DPS to intervene. Law enforcement sources noted that most protesters remained calm. DPS was reportedly requested by county and federal officials to be present at the facility during the protest.The two men are currently held in the Frio County Jail, facing charges of interfering with public duties and resisting arrest.New video of an ICE arrest on the west side is stirring up a lot of emotions.
