Emergency services rushed to the scene of the blaze in the early hours of this morning.
A busy road in Paisley has been closed by police following a house fire that left two people in need of medical treatment.
Four fire engines were sent to the scene and crews worked for over three hours to extinguish the blaze and make the area safe.Two people suffering from smoke inhalation were taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital by ambulance staff. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 12.43am on Friday, January 20 to reports of a dwelling fire in Paisley.
