Swedish public health authorities recommended this week that children younger than two should not use any digital media, as parents, paediatricians and governments struggle to respond to the challenges of today’s tech-soaked world.
A Penang Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said in the first incident, a distress call came in at 1.09am regarding a fire at a terrace house along Jalan Oldham in Tanjung Bungah .
The spokesman said the fire destroyed about 40% of the house and firemen were still working to extinguish the blaze with the help of the volunteer brigade as of 11am. The spokesman said 27 firemen from the Paya Terubong, Lebuh Pantai and Jalan Perak stations were deployed.
