Two Ohio State starting offensive linemen have put off the NFL Draft.

Published: Jan. 15, 2026, 5:00 a.m.Center Carson Hinzman and left tackle Austin Siereveld will both return in 2026, despite having the option to enter the NFL Draft. Both were starters for the entire 2025 season along the line for all 14 Ohio State games.

He will be in his fourth year in Columbus next season.A member of the 2022 class, he was pressed into a starting role for the 2023 season. The Buckeyes then brought in Seth McLaughlin from Alabama for the 2024 season, so Hinzman was a backup until McLaughlin suffered a season-ending injury. Since then, he’s been the team’s starting center. Hinzman will the most experienced lineman, having played a career 2,196 snaps. He has started 35 career games. Paired with the return of Luke Montgomery, who also announced he’d return for a fourth season, Ohio State’s offensive line is set to be both veteran and experienced headed into 2026.The UFL’s Columbus Aviators will have some local flair on their team. The expansion team added two former Buckeyes on Wednesday in offensive lineman Matthew Jones and tight end Gee Scott Jr. Jones was a two-time Second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2022 and 2023. He went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft and spent time with the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals but never played in a regular season game. Scott was a member of the national title team in 2024.
