Both cities were ranked among the top 20 buggiest cities to live in, according to a recent report from TruGreen, a national lawn care and pest prevention company.
The Cleveland-Akron metropolitan area ranked seventh on the list of buggiest cities in the U.S., one spot behind Detroit and three spots ahead of Pittsburgh . Columbus, meanwhile, ranked as the 16th buggiest city in the U.S.The report gathered data throughout 2022, measuring the metropolitan areas most impacted by mosquitoes, fleas and ticks, and found that 68% of survey respondents plan to invest in outdoor pest control this year.
