Two officers injured after Paisley major incident as police 'chased with chainsaw'

Emergency services swarmed the scene on Glasgow Road at around 1pm after reports of the disturbance which happened after a crash involving a car and a stationary police vehicle.

Two officers were injured today, Monday May 6, following an incident on a Paisley street involving a 'chainsaw'.

Videos and images seen by Glasgow Live show a police car which has smashed into a nearby wall and an individual allegedly with a chainsaw.
