A man in his early 20s suffered life-threatening injuries in a Friday morning shooting in the Biltmore neighborhood.

Jacksonville police say a the man walked up to a house on Shannon Avenue and knocked on the door to ask for help because he had just been shot.Officers were unable to locate a scene. They were canvassing the area and seeking witnesses to the shooting. No suspect information was immediately available.

Just before Midnight, a man was shot in the foot in the Jacksonville Heights area, on Nussbaum Drive. The man in his mid-30s was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say an unknown vehicle pulled up to a house and shot multiple times, striking the victim. Police are asking for any information on both shootings at 630-0500 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1 845-TIPS.
