Two more arrested for Thabo Bester's escape
The employees were arrested on Monday at their place of residence and they are scheduled to make their first appearance in the Bloemfontein Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says police have so far arrested eight suspects and cannot rule out the possibility of more arrests.
During the bail hearing last month, state prosecutor Sello Matlhoko told Magistrate Motholo Khabisi that the State would only oppose bail for Magudumana, as well as G4S employees Tebogo Lipholo and Senate Matsoara, while the court granted Sekeleni R10 000 bail under strict conditions. Bester appeared separately for the first time on April 14 after breaking out from one of the country's most secure prisons less than a year ago and being recaptured with Magudumana in Tanzania.
