Alabama delegates arrived to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday and Sunday for the 2024 National Republican Convention.
The conference kicks off Monday, July 15, just days after the assassination attempt on former President Trump. Trump will be in attendance.Two delegates from the Mobile area will be there to formally nominate Trump as the GOP’s presidential nominee.
Barlow says the assassination attempt on former President Trump has encouraged she and her fellow delegates to arrive at the convention ready to work. Mike Wilson of Mobile County will also be there as an alternate delegate. She details the utter shock she experienced when she first heard the news about Trump’s narrow escape from death.
