Two Mexican nationals have been sentenced for their roles in a conspiracy to smuggle AR-15 parts from the United States into Mexico . Jose Francisco Garcia-Cervantes was sentenced to 57 months in prison on Friday, while Ricardo Rodriguez - Sotelo was sentenced to 78 months on Oct. 24, 2024, for the same crime. Court documents reveal the men trafficked firearm parts from the Western and Southern Districts of Texas into Mexico .
