Two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
It's understood officers were knocking on doors and questioning locals, as well as tracking the movements of residents leaving the premises. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.25pm on Tuesday, November 1, police attended a report of an incident at a flat in Greendykes Road in Edinburgh.
