🔴Two men charged with murder of Ashley Dale, shot dead in her back garden in Liverpool
James Witham, 40, and Joseph Peers, 28, have been charged with the murder. Both men are from the Huyton area of the city.of her home in Old Swan, Liverpool, shortly before 1am on Sunday 21 August 2022.
She was rushed to hospital and later died from her injuries, in an attack believed to be a case of mistaken identity. The two men have been charged with murder and possession of a firearm with intent and they are due to appear at Wirral adult remand court on Tuesday, Merseyside Police announced. A 25-year-old man from St Helens who has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains in custody.
