Emergency services raced to Shettleston Road after they received reports of a disturbance at around 6.20pm on Wednesday, March 13. Two men aged 22 and 47 were arrested in connection with the aleged incident.

Two men have been arrested after a man was rushed to hospital following an alleged 'stabbing' in the east end of the city.

A 41-year-old injured man reportedly approached a passing First Glasgow bus, which was stopped in the road at the time, for help following the incident. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Two men, one aged 22 and one aged 47, have been arrested in connection with a disturbance on Shettleston Road, Glasgow. The incident happened around 6.20pm on Wednesday, 13 March, 2024, and a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
