The crash was first reported just after 10 a.m. on March 25 at the junction between SR-179 and Parachute Park Lane. Lt. Cameron Roden said the Chevy Corvette was turning left from Parachute Lane onto SR-179 when it turned in front of a northbound semi-truck and was struck.The two occupants in the Corvette were killed in the crash, Lt. Roden said. The identities of the victims have not been publicly released. Northbound SR-179 was closed at the crash scene and some lanes on Parachute Park Lane have been restricted. The Utah Department of Transportation said commuters in the area should expect delays and use an alternate route, if possible.A St. George neighborhood experienced an infestation of hundreds of roof rats.
