Two killed in crash involving stolen vehicle in Newark, officials say
Two people were killed and three others injured in a crash involving a stolen vehicle early Thursday in Newark, authorities saidEssex County Prosecutor’s Office
said. It wasn’t immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or if there were additional injuries. Both people were pronounced dead at the scene. The injured — all women — were brought to an area hospital. A spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office said she was gathering more information about the crash.
