A sledding accident over the weekend at Colorado’s Copper Mountain Ski Resort left two Fairbury, Illinois, high schoolers dead.
The pair of Prairie Central High School students, Dylan Bazell and Drew Fehr, were at the ski resort for spring break.
When the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at 8:35 p.m. local time Sunday, the two student-athletes were pronounced dead.Summit County Sheriff Jaime FitzSimons offered condolences to the friends and families of the two students.
