The issue on Cedar Lane in Orinda began Jan. 15.
ORINDA — A landslide in a hillside neighborhood has threatened two houses and forced the residents in both of them to vacate.
The other was yellow-tagged last week and upgraded to a red tag over the weekend. It resides above the originally red-tagged house. Work crews were at the homes on Monday afternoon, but the road was closed off to all but local residents. It was not clear when the repair-work would be finish or how extensive it needed to be.
