Burglars reportedly targeted a property in Foxlands Close, Leavesden, between 7.30am and 6pm on Tuesday, November 15.On the same day between 8am and 5.50pm a door in Clarke Way was smashed and the home ransacked. The burglars took bottles of perfume before making off.Herts Police say they are investigating the break-ins at both homes – which are around three minutes’ drive apart – and urged anyone with information to come forward.

So far this year there have been 294 burglaries in Watford with eight people charged, according to the latest police figures. That compares to 282 for the full previous year and 14 charges.
