Two people die in a fiery Jackson County crash near Pisgah.
Alabama Troopers said two people died in a one-vehicle crash Monday night in Jackson County.
Cpl. Reginal M. King said the incident happened about 6 p.m. on Alabama 40 near the nine mile marker, about four miles south of Pisgah. A 2015 Volvo XC60 left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. The driver and passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
