Kota Kinabalu: The 12th edition of the Asian Bird Fair held in Sabah for the first time kicked off, Saturday, serving as a global platform for advancing sustainable birding, nurturing ecological consciousness and celebrating Sabah’s diverse birdlife.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew commended the fair which features 140 exhibitors from 18 international countries.“Sabah is a haven for wildlife, particularly its remarkable birdlife. It is home to some of the most sought-after and endemic bird species in the world, making it the perfect location for this year’s Asian Bird Fair.
