Following the blaze, police have determined that both vehicles had been stolen.
Two cars ditched in a park and set on fire had been stolen before they were burned out, police have said.
Fire crews used a pair of hose reel jets to put out the blazes, leaving the scene under an hour later. No injuries were reported as a result of the fires, which are believed to have been started deliberately.
