Hours after Louisiana State Police issued an Amber Alert for two kidnapped children whose mother was brutally murdered, police discovered the body of a 4-year-old girl.
A man accused of brutally murdering a Louisiana woman he had dated is suspected of killing one of her two children abducted on Thursday.Callie Brunett, 35, had been missing since Tuesday before being found "brutally murdered" inside her bedroom in Loranger, Louisiana, early Thursday morning, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.Louisiana State Police issued an Amber Alert for Brunett’s daughters, 4-year-old Erin and 6-year-old Julie, who were last seen at 8 a.m.
Police alleged that Cox was involved in the abduction and killing of Erin, who was taken from her home in Loranger, Louisiana, along with her 6-year-old sister, Julie, on Thursday.
