Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Frank James Crenshaw in Lowndes County, Alabama. Crenshaw was fatally shot during an attempted carjacking on December 30, 2024.
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office has announced that two arrests have been made in a man’s shooting death. At a news conference Friday afternoon, criminal investigations commander Lt. Anthony Green said Frank James Crenshaw was fatally shot during an attempted carjacking on December 30, 2024. He said a group of four to six people stopped Crenshaw in front of the Edgewood Manor apartment complex and tried to take his car at gunpoint, then shot him as he tried to get away.
Two suspects were arrested this week. Green said Jadarrius Darnell McPherson, 22, and Joseph Jerrell Williams, 18, are both charged with one count of murder. “Based on the information that we have it was a carjacking. They were attempted to rob Mr. Crenshaw of his vehicle, and unfortunately that led to his death,” said Green
