Four people were shot early Sunday morning in Sunnyside, according to Denver police.
The victims included a man, woman and two girls, police spokesman Nate Magee said Sunday. All initially survived their injuries, he said, adding he did not have a recent update on their conditions.
Police responded to the shooting at 12:54 a.m. in the 2700 block of W. 42nd Avenue. Officers found all four victims with “suspected gunshot wounds,” police said. Residents in the area were initially asked to stay inside, but Magee said Sunday there is no ongoing threat to the public.
