A 15-year-old girl was shot just before 5 p.m. Sunday on 29th Street near Cumberland, according to police. Hours later, a 15-year-old boy was injured in an unrelated shooting.
The girl was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and remained there Sunday for treatment, according to police.
The first shooting took place just before 5 p.m. on 29th Street near Cumberland in Strawberry Mansion, though investigators said the exact location of the shooting remained unclear. Medics took the victim to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where she was reported in stable condition.
