But why...? 😳 TwitterBlue TechNave
Twitter has decided that its paying customers should be rewarded with more. Elon Musk has been adding increasingly more features to the platform's Twitter Blue subscription plan, and the latest one is more than a bit head-scratch inducing.
Yesterday, Musk announced that Twitter Blue verified users will now be able to upload videos up to 2 hours in length or 8GB in size. Verified subscribers were quick to take advantage of the new feature, uploading all kinds of videos with different lengths . There was even someone who uploaded a licensed movie, but received a DMCA takedown in no time.
Nobody goes to Twitter to watch long videos, so what's the point? Well, some users are excited for this and think it could replace YouTube. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
