[Showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith] is an excellent collaborator; he's a fantastic showrunner. He's a nerd at heart, and he loves comedy, and I love comedy, and I think one of the greatest gifts that you can have as an actor is somebody who believes in you. And, for those of us that like comedy, it's [great having] somebody that laughs at your jokes, and thinks the same kind of way that you do. Anything that I did or pitched on set, it was always a kind of back and forth with us.
How Twisted Metal's Quiet Compares To B99's Rosa Well before the show's release, Beatriz's Twisted Metal character was seeing a number of comparisons to that of Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Rosa, namely as the two women showed a capacity for violence and a quiet demeanor, especially with the former literally being named Quiet.
