ex-boyfriend, Ngcebo Thusi, was arrested.The criminal case against the man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Tshwane University of Technology student Ntokozo Xaba, has been postponed because police have not yet finalised the investigation.The prosecutor, Mashudu Nembulunge, asked the court for a postponement, and said further investigation had to take place.Thusi is still in custody after abandoning his bid for bail during his first court appearance in February.
According to police, the two were allegedly drinking with friends the night before the murder. The friends left, and Xaba's body was found with stab wounds to the neck the following day.'You are happy because you have a lawyer' - relative yells at man accused of murdering TUT student Ekhaya Junction Management, which manages the residence, said in a statement they were informed that Xaba's friends were unable to get hold of her via cellphone.
