TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio - A suspect has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing a River Hill Road home Thursday night, according to the Tuscarawas County Sheriff

The Sheriff’s office press release stated, the suspect had an active warrant and will be held on that warrant until the new charges are filed. Thursday deputies say they responded to a call around 11:46 p.m. Thursday about a side-by-side utility vehicle flipped on its side with blood on the windshield in Gnadenhutten.K-9 Rocky was deployed and located another gun, along with a backpack with other items a good distance away from the vehicle, deputies say.

Officials say the gun found with the backpack was determined to be stolen from a nearby home on River Hill Road in Port Washington. The suspect required treatment at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital and will be taken to the Tuscarawas County Jail when he is released, according to the release.Copyright 2023 WOIO.
