A man is in custody after a robbery Thursday night at Tuscaloosa store. The suspect also is charged with a January robbery at the store and could face additional charges.

Irish Tyshawn Hunter, 31, is facing two counts of first-degree robbery in the Thursday night holdup of the Family Dollar at 524 14th St. in Tuscaloosa and another robbery at the business on Jan. 14, police said. Tuscaloosa police received a call of a robbery in progress around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Family Dollar.
When an employee noticed that the “gun” turned out to be a drill, they confronted the suspect as the employee left the store.
