Turkish Consulate vandalized in Midtown, about 10 windows smashed: NYPD

Authorities received a 911 call at around 3:15 a.m. alerting them that a man was smashing the windows of the consulate, located at 821 1st Avenue, near the United Nations. When police arrived, the suspect had fled the scene, according to the NYPD.
