Sylvester Stallone as Dwight Manfredi in Tulsa King, episode 2, season 3, streaming on Paramount+, 2025.

This weekend, Taylor Sheridan's Tulsa King Season 3 continues with its fifth episode, following the tense Episode 4,"Staring Down the Barrel." Proving somewhat divisive with audiences, Season 3 has so far earned the lowest audience rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes of the series, yet its critics' score is typically strong at 86%.

Although specific viewing figures have not yet dropped, Tulsa King's third season, despite a mixed response from audiences, is proving just as popular, regularly topping the streaming charts and continuing a now 237-day streak in the top ten. However, at the time of writing, Tulsa King's reign at the top of the charts has ended, at least temporarily, with an animated fan-favorite taking the current crown. The controversial South Park, which continues to drop jaws with its current, Donald Trump-mocking season, has taken the top spot on Paramount+ in the U.S. With the Trey Parker and Matt Stone-created series in first and Tulsa King dropping to second, third place in the charts goes to the long-running NCIS, with The Neighborhood in fourth, and Criminal Minds in fifth. Another procedural, FBI, is in sixth, with Dexter in seventh, the classic sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond in eighth, Matlock in ninth, and the beloved animated series SpongeBob SquarePants in tenth. 'Tulsa King' Season 3 Is a Hit With Critics Despite backlash from a minority of fans, Tulsa King's third season has at least earned almost universal praise from critics. As the episodes air, the gripping plot at Tulsa King's heart draws more viewers in, helping it reclaim its streaming crown. From those in the know, it seems this third season is sure to keep getting better. Collider's Jeff Ewing, in his official review of the third season, dubbed it the"best outing yet," awarding it a near-perfect 8/10 and praising both the new and returning cast. Ewing wrote: "Altogether, Season 3 is shaping up to be Tulsa King's most exciting installment yet. It adds strong antagonists to the world who set dangerous stakes early, backed by excellent new additions to the cast . It boasts greater involvement and development of some key, formerly underutilized players, which benefits its storytelling. There's also a promise of greater mob danger as the narrative plays out, keeping the pressure on Dwight and refusing to let go. While it's impossible to say how well everything will ultimately come together, Tulsa King Season 3 is a thoroughly tense ride nonetheless — and the best that Sheridan's series has been so far." 43 9.7/10 7 10 Tulsa King 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed TV-MA Crime Drama Release Date November 13, 2022 Network Paramount+ Showrunner Dave Erickson, Terence Winter Directors Allen Coulter, Benjamin Semanoff, David Semel, Guy Ferland, Joshua Marston, Kevin Dowling, Lodge Kerrigan, Jim McKay Writers Joseph Riccobene, David Flebotte, William Schmidt, Taylor Elmore, Tom Sierchio, Regina Corrado, Stephen Scaia, Terence Winter 10 Images Close Cast See All
