The suspect who pleaded not guilty Tuesday to the fatal shootings of six family members at a Tulare County home is the man seen on surveillance video stalking a teenage victim, the sheriff’s office says.
After their arrests, the sheriff’s office released the recording of the 911 call, made around 4 a.m. on Jan. 16, as well as images and video from the crime scene, in a residential neighborhood a block east of Highway 99. The recording starts with the caller breathing then talking softly as the 911 operator tries to determine the situation. Then, apparently crying as she speaks, the caller says: “They shot my boyfriend. They keep shooting outside. … I’m scared. They’re still shooting outside. Please hurry.”The caller, now more composed, responds: “Hurry, please. They’re coming back. They’re coming back.
